Asking about work, love or money
- Work
- You are in a position to make the call. Once you have seen clearly which people and methods are truly good, trust them wholeheartedly and let them get on with it. Sincerely back what is right, and things will go smoothly.
- Love
- When you meet someone truly good, trust them and treat them sincerely, and don't be of two minds. If you have a partner, look more at the good in them and give your trust in full, and the two of you grow closer and closer.
- Money
- With money, go with people who are truly good and with honest ventures. Look carefully first; once you are sure, work together in good faith and stop second-guessing. When your word stands firm, the way is smooth.
This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Sui.
Line position
A yang line in a yang place: it is in its proper place; it holds the center of its trigram. Its partner is the second line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.
Fifth place: the center of the upper trigram, the ruler's seat, a place of achievement. This is where things are decided.
When you get this line
If this is the only changing line in your cast (three backs, old yang), this line is your answer. The primary hexagram is Sui (Following); when this line changes it becomes Zhen (Thunder): hexagram 17 changing to 51.
