The small Image commentary is the earliest explanation of the line texts. It usually explains a line from its position: where it stands, whether it holds the center, and which line answers it.
Verdict
慎Proceed with care. There is some risk, or some regret left over, but nothing serious. Notice it early, correct it early, and things turn for the better.

Asking about work, love or money
- Work
- You are gazing up at someone above you, hoping to share in their glory and have an easy time; that road leads to regret. Wake up early and rely on your own work; the longer you put it off, the more you will regret it.
- Love
- You have pinned all your happiness on the other person, waiting longingly for them to give you a good life; you will regret it. Take your heart back early and hold up your own life; the later you wake up, the more you will regret it.
- Money
- You are counting on others for the good life, trailing after people with money and waiting for someone to bring you comfort; you will regret it. Turn back early and earn your own way; turn back too late, and you really will regret it.
This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Yu.
Line position
A yin line in a yang place: it is not in its proper place. Its partner is the top line, which is also yin, so there is no answer from it.
Third place: the top of the lower trigram, a place of risk. A moment of transition. Be on guard.
When you get this line
If this is the only changing line in your cast (three inscribed sides, old yin), this line is your answer. The primary hexagram is Yu (Enthusiasm); when this line changes it becomes Xiaoguo (Small Excess): hexagram 16 changing to 62.
