Asking about work, love or money

Work
Making a living by crooked means is a dead end, even if you can give reasons for it. Don't touch that kind of work now, and don't touch it later either; it can only do you harm.
Love
Filling your needs in improper ways, such as trading affection for advantage or endlessly taking from the other person, is wrong no matter how many reasons you have. Don't go down this road; however long you walk it, no good comes of it.
Money
This money does not come from a proper source; however many reasons you have, you cannot take it. Don't touch it, and don't tell yourself you will do it for a while and then stop; there is no good in it at all.

This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Yi.

Line position

A yin line in a yang place: it is not in its proper place. Its partner is the top line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.

Third place: the top of the lower trigram, a place of risk. A moment of transition. Be on guard.
