Asking about work, love or money
- Work
- Everyone depends on you for their living, and you carry the heaviest load. All the more reason to stay alert at every moment and think of the worst case. Keep that caution, and you can get through even a major challenge.
- Love
- The other person and those around you all lean on you; you have become everyone's support. The load is heavy, so stay alert at every moment and don't assume things are secure. With that care, you can get over even the hardest hurdle.
- Money
- Your whole household's livelihood rests on you. With every sum, think first of what could go wrong and keep something in reserve; don't get careless. Keep a sense of danger, and even if you take on something big, you can carry it.
This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Yi.
Line position
A yang line in a yin place: it is not in its proper place. Its partner is the third line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.
Top place: the end of the matter. What reaches its limit turns. Know when to stop.
When you get this line
