Asking about work, love or money
- Work
- Look out for the people around you sincerely: give them chances and help, expect nothing back, and don't even ask whether it is worth it; that is great good fortune. People will sincerely remember your kindness and work alongside you.
- Love
- Be good to the other person from the heart, without calculating, without conditions, and without asking what you will get back; that is the best there is. The other person will sincerely take your kindness to heart.
- Money
- Give the share that belongs to your partners and to those who have helped you, sincerely and in full, without calculating and without strings. Done this way, there is no need to ask how it will turn out; trust and goodwill will come back to you together.

Line position
A yang line in a yang place: it is in its proper place; it holds the center of its trigram. Its partner is the second line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.
Fifth place: the center of the upper trigram, the ruler's seat, a place of achievement. This is where things are decided.
When you get this line
If this is the only changing line in your cast (three backs, old yang), this line is your answer. The primary hexagram is Yi (Increase); when this line changes it becomes Yi (Nourishment): hexagram 42 changing to 27.
