Asking about work, love or money

Work
You have already risen as far as you can go, yet you are still set on climbing and can't stop. Turn that drive in another direction, into doing things right and improving yourself; only then does it do you good.
Love
You keep wanting more: more closeness, more certainty, more promises, and you can't stop. Pull that drive back and put it into treating the other person sincerely and steadily, all the time; that is what does you good.
Money
You only know how to charge upward; the more you earn, the more you want, and going on like this will only wear you down, not make you richer. Put your drive into keeping to the right path and building for the long term; that is what pays.

This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Sheng.

Line position

A yin line in a yin place: it is in its proper place. Its partner is the third line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.

Top place: the end of the matter. What reaches its limit turns. Know when to stop.
