Asking about work, love or money
- Work
- You are tangled up in a mass of small matters, your footing is unsteady, and you fear every move is a mistake. When a trap has reached its limit, it is time to change: think carefully about where you went wrong, correct it, and then go forward, and there is good fortune.
- Love
- You are being dragged along by an entanglement, your heart sways, and you fear regretting whatever you do. At this point it is time to change: admit your mistakes sincerely, think it through, and then take a step forward, and it turns out well.
- Money
- Your money is tangled in a mess of accounts, your footing is shaky, and every move brings regret. First reflect honestly on where you went wrong; correct it and then act, and you can walk out of the trap.
This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Kun.
Line position
A yin line in a yin place: it is in its proper place. Its partner is the third line, which is also yin, so there is no answer from it.
Top place: the end of the matter. What reaches its limit turns. Know when to stop.
