三錢六擲既Cast简繁

Jiji, six in the second placeHexagram 63, line 2 · Jiji (After Completion) · changing to 5

The line

Text婦喪其茀,勿逐,七日得。The wife loses her carriage screen. Do not chase it. In seven days it is regained.

In plain wordsThe wife has lost the curtain of her carriage and cannot go out. There is no need to look for it; in a few days it will come back by itself. You have real ability, and for the moment those above have no use for you, but the right way will not be set aside forever.

The Image commentary on this line

七日得,以中道也。

"In seven days it is regained": because of the way of the center.

The small Image commentary is the earliest explanation of the line texts. It usually explains a line from its position: where it stands, whether it holds the center, and which line answers it.

Verdict

平Neutral. The text gives no verdict, only an image. Ask what in your situation the image resembles. The answer is there.

Asking about work, love or money

Work
You have real ability; it is just that those above have no use for you right now, and you have been left on the shelf. No need to fight or ask for it. Keep to your role and do the work in front of you; the right way will not be set aside forever.
Love
If the other person has gone cool for a while, or a chance has just slipped by, don't chase after an explanation. Keep your own sense of measure, without chasing or making a scene; wait quietly, and don't throw yourself into disarray.
Money
Money that should arrive is slow in coming, or an opportunity has just been lost. There is no need to rush after it, and certainly don't take risks to make it up. Keep to the right path, wait patiently, and don't throw yourself into disarray.

This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Jiji.

Line position

A yin line in a yin place: it is in its proper place; it holds the center of its trigram. Its partner is the fifth line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.

Second place: the center of the lower trigram, a place of praise. Stay centered and yielding.
