Asking about work, love or money

Work
If you only huddle with your own small circle and look after only your own people, your road will keep narrowing and you will end up embarrassed. Open the door and work well with people outside your circle too.
Love
If your love life revolves only around your family and your old circle, and you always side with your own people first, your view narrows, and sooner or later it gets awkward. Open your heart a little, and don't judge right and wrong by who is closer to you.
Money
If you only do business with relatives and people you know, and share the gains only with your own, it looks safe, but the road is narrow and partial, and it is likely to leave you looking bad. Keep the accounts open, and deal with outsiders as well.

This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Tongren.

Line position

A yin line in a yin place: it is in its proper place; it holds the center of its trigram. Its partner is the fifth line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.

Second place: the center of the lower trigram, a place of praise. Stay centered and yielding.
