Asking about work, love or money
- Work
- You are like a big wagon: you can hold the load and pull it. You can take on the heavy task, and if you know where you are headed, go. Just make sure your foundation is solid: be certain you can really carry it, and the weight will not crush you.
- Love
- You are responsible and have strength to spare; you can carry a serious relationship and make room for all of the other person. You can take a step forward, as long as you are truly ready to shoulder it, not just to enjoy the good side.
- Money
- Your base is solid and can bear something bigger, so you can go ahead. But carrying a lot means carrying it steadily: see clearly how much you can really bear, and don't overload.
This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Dayou.
Line position
A yang line in a yin place: it is not in its proper place; it holds the center of its trigram. Its partner is the fifth line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.
Second place: the center of the lower trigram, a place of praise. Stay centered and yielding.
When you get this line
If this is the only changing line in your cast (three backs, old yang), this line is your answer. The primary hexagram is Dayou (Great Possession); when this line changes it becomes Li (Clinging Fire): hexagram 14 changing to 30.
