Asking about work, love or money
- Work
- You have reached the top and everything goes your way, as if heaven itself were helping. All the more reason to keep your word, do things by what is right, and respect people of real ability; full without spilling over, nothing is unfavorable.
- Love
- Love has reached a very good place, so smooth it is as if heaven were helping. Keep your promises, go by what is fair and reasonable, respect the other person's strengths, and don't get carried away when things are good; then all is well.
- Money
- Your money and resources are at their fullest, and everything comes easily. Keep your word, be reasonable, let people of real ability come forward, and even with plenty, don't show off or squander it; then nothing goes against you.
This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Dayou.
Line position
A yang line in a yin place: it is not in its proper place. Its partner is the third line, which is also yang, so there is no answer from it.
Top place: the end of the matter. What reaches its limit turns. Know when to stop.
When you get this line
If this is the only changing line in your cast (three backs, old yang), this line is your answer. The primary hexagram is Dayou (Great Possession); when this line changes it becomes Dazhuang (Great Strength): hexagram 14 changing to 34.
