The Image commentary on this line
交孚无咎,志行也。
"They trust each other"; "no blame": the purpose is carried out.
The small Image commentary is the earliest explanation of the line texts. It usually explains a line from its position: where it stands, whether it holds the center, and which line answers it.
Verdict
慎Proceed with care. There is some risk, or some regret left over, but nothing serious. Notice it early, correct it early, and things turn for the better.

Asking about work, love or money
- Work
- You are isolated on the team, with hardly anyone backing you. If you meet someone reliable now, work with them sincerely. The situation is still risky and you need to be careful, but doing this is not a mistake.
- Love
- You feel isolated, as if no one understands you. In fact there is someone who does, and they may be right beside you; when you find them, meet them with sincerity. But your situation is still unsettled, so take extra care, and you will not go wrong.
- Money
- When you are alone and without support, don't go borrowing from or partnering with just anyone. If you meet someone truly reliable, deal with them in good faith and keep the accounts clear. The risk is still there; be careful at every step and you will not go wrong.
This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Kui.
Line position
A yang line in a yin place: it is not in its proper place. Its partner is the first line, which is also yang, so there is no answer from it.
Fourth place: next to the ruler, a place of caution. Serve those above with care.
When you get this line
If this is the only changing line in your cast (three backs, old yang), this line is your answer. The primary hexagram is Kui (Opposition); when this line changes it becomes Sun (Decrease): hexagram 38 changing to 41.
