Asking about work, love or money

Work
Forcing the change through now brings misfortune; even if you are in the right, it is dangerous. Stop. Bring your plan out and talk it over again and again; only when it holds up every time and people believe in it is it your turn to act.
Love
Don't rush to push the other person to change or push the relationship to shift; even with reason on your side, the more you rush, the worse it gets. Stop. Lay out your thoughts and talk them through slowly; only after many talks, when the other person truly agrees, bring up change.
Money
Overturning the way you have always done things and moving all your money onto a new path in one go will not work now; forcing it will lead to trouble. Stop. Go over the accounts and the plan with your family or partners again and again, and wait until everything checks out.

This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Ge.

Line position

A yang line in a yang place: it is in its proper place. Its partner is the top line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.

Third place: the top of the lower trigram, a place of risk. A moment of transition. Be on guard.
