Asking about work, love or money
- Work
- The team or the project is just beginning to show signs of falling apart, and fixing it now takes the least effort, so act quickly. If your own strength is not enough, go along with the capable person beside you and rescue it together.
- Love
- As soon as you sense the two of you drifting a little apart, don't wait for it to turn into a cold war. Reaching out a little now is the easiest way to pull things back; if you don't know what to do, listen to what a dependable person close to you says.
- Money
- Spending is just starting to slip out of control, and a small hole has just appeared in your accounts; patching it now is easiest. If you are not good with money, humbly follow someone knowledgeable and dependable, learn from them, and do as they do.
This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Huan.
Line position
A yin line in a yang place: it is not in its proper place. Its partner is the fourth line, which is also yin, so there is no answer from it.
First place: the beginning of the matter. Low position, little power. Begin carefully.
When you get this line
If this is the only changing line in your cast (three inscribed sides, old yin), this line is your answer. The primary hexagram is Huan (Dispersion); when this line changes it becomes Zhongfu (Inner Truth): hexagram 59 changing to 61.
