Asking about work, love or money
- Work
- It is time to bring all your drive to bear on the hardest task. This will not be done in a moment; it takes sustained effort. Keep to the right path and hang on, and the reward will be worth it.
- Love
- The relationship you want has real hurdles. It takes a true heart and real effort, kept up over time, not hot one moment and cold the next. With an honest heart and the will to persist, the effort is worth it.
- Money
- Money has to be earned through long, solid effort; there are no shortcuts. Settle on something proper, summon your strength, and keep at it. It is hard, but it is worth it.
This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Weiji.
Line position
A yang line in a yin place: it is not in its proper place. Its partner is the first line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.
Fourth place: next to the ruler, a place of caution. Serve those above with care.
When you get this line
