Asking about work, love or money

Work
The people around you are all coasting and undermining things, and you refuse to go along; you stand on the right side. You will seem out of step, perhaps even be left isolated, but this is not wrong.
Love
The people around you are all casual about love and tell you not to take it too seriously either, but you don't follow them; you keep to what you believe is right. Drifting a little away from that crowd is fine.
Money
Everyone around you is spending recklessly, borrowing carelessly and making dirty money, and you alone don't join in. Better to earn less and keep fewer such ties, and stay clean in how you deal; then there is no blame.

This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Bo.

Line position

A yin line in a yang place: it is not in its proper place. Its partner is the top line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.

Third place: the top of the lower trigram, a place of risk. A moment of transition. Be on guard.
