Asking about work, love or money

Work
The benefit comes from outside: someone values you and offers you a chance you could not turn down if you tried. You can take it, and take it with gratitude; then keep to your role steadily for the long run, and don't change because good things came your way.
Love
This affection was freely offered by the other person; you cannot turn it down, and there is no need to. Accept it, and answer it with sincerity that lasts; don't be warm only for a while, since what is rare is holding steady all the way.
Money
When help or income comes from outside and comes honestly, you can accept it, with respect and gratitude. After that, keep to the right path steadily, with no greed and no careless spending, and the benefit will stay with you.

This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Yi.

Line position

A yin line in a yin place: it is in its proper place; it holds the center of its trigram. Its partner is the fifth line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.

Second place: the center of the lower trigram, a place of praise. Stay centered and yielding.
