Asking about work, love or money
- Work
- Your situation may not be the best, but the people around you trust you and are willing to move up with you. Talk things over with everyone and move forward the way people all want to go, and you will have nothing to regret.
- Love
- Your friends and family think well of this step you are taking, and they trust you. Listen to what they have to say and don't stubbornly go it alone; that little unease inside you will fade on its own.
- Money
- On your own, your resources may not be enough, but people trust you and are willing to pitch in. Discuss money matters openly and follow rules everyone agrees on, and you will not go wrong.
This is how to read it when this is the only changing line. With several changing lines, first see which text governs; for the hexagram as a whole, see Jin.
Line position
A yin line in a yang place: it is not in its proper place. Its partner is the top line, which is its opposite, so the two answer each other.
Third place: the top of the lower trigram, a place of risk. A moment of transition. Be on guard.
When you get this line
If this is the only changing line in your cast (three inscribed sides, old yin), this line is your answer. The primary hexagram is Jin (Advance); when this line changes it becomes Lü (The Wanderer): hexagram 35 changing to 56.
